How to make Open Sans font in Google Chrome look like Open Sans instead of sans-serif?

I switched to Open Sans in one project and encountered a significant difference in the display of character boldness in Chrome. Searching for solutions turned up nothing. I include fonts via css. First Open Sans, then sans-serif. The fonts are connected exactly right.
A similar problem is observed even on the Wordpress site. Notice for example the text in the blue box at the top left.
What can be done so that the font is displayed in chrome as in all other browsers?
up: Added a screenshot. I consider Firefox as a benchmark - in IE 11.0.6 and Opera 12.17 everything looks like in FF).

In chrome, in the element properties, in the Computed tab of the computed style, read "Rendered Fonts"
