How to make mysql failsafe?
Good afternoon! There is such a scheme: a web application (1 server), a database for it (2 server), a backup database (3 server). The task is as follows: how can you make sure that when the server for the database fails, you can switch to the backup server for the database, naturally in automatic mode. As I understand it, some kind of intermediary is needed, which will either change the IP addresses of the database servers or names or something else. What are the means to do this? Thank you all in advance. I'm new to this stuff, so don't scold me.

Google about database replication, and there is also Percona XtraDB Cluster, on Habré they wrote about all this several times.
