How to make multi-store for different cities on opencart?

Opencart by default supports managing multiple stores from a single admin panel.
I need to implement a store for 10 cities, which will be on subdomains, but managed from one admin:
msk.shop.ru
sbp.shop.ru
, etc.
Those. I need to set up the template, plugins, design once, in the cities there will be only different products.
Has anyone implemented something like this? Is there a sane instruction / article on organizing a multistore on opencart? (I've only seen sparse forum discussions)

made 7 stores on subdomains, collected everything bit by bit in Google)))
The main backbone of the solution is in a custom script, it gets the current subdomain and then displays / switches its data - templates, etc. To choose where to show which product, you create an additional checkbox field. To display different data (phone, email address) - also add. fields. This is all for management from the admin panel.
Naturally, I didn’t do this crap for my stores, I insert everything directly into tpl, why ask the database for a phone number every time, if you can enter it directly into the template and forget about it for a year?
And it does not happen that only goods are different! And the phone? And the addresses? What about prices?
