How to make Mail.app show image attachments in emails from Redmine?

When we attach files to them in tasks/comments (images, markdown markup), then everything is displayed well in the web face of our mail (only the question "should I load pictures?" when viewing), and in Mail.app it's just a blue square.
Pictures are normally displayed for non-authorized users (checked in anonymous chrome mode).
