How to make Luci work normally?

I'll be brief
The Openwrt Chaos Calmer firmware for the TP-Link TL-MR3020 router left TOO little room for installing additional packages. Previously, this was solved by installing a flash drive and mounting it to write everything additional to it, but now it is more difficult, because there is SO little space that there is no way to install the three packages that are needed to mount the flash drive ... well, okay, we get the Image Generator and we assemble the firmware with the necessary three packages, but without a heavy web interface, mount the USB flash drive, reboot for a long time, enjoy 4GB instead of 4MB of memory and install the web interface and then the fun begins, because some garbage is going on with certificates for https.
that is, in general - Luci works, but somewhat unsuccessfully, and with the preinstalled web interface, there is no such problem.
in what config what to include? Tell me please.

Well, first of all, decipher
And collect the firmware according to the normal and not Image Generator
