How to make in Unity 3D so that the child object does not depend on the parent?

I have objects and a Plane, I want to position the objects on the Plane i.e. make the area be the Position for my object. I assigned my Plane object with SetParent(), but when I change the Scale Plane the child object gets larger. Is it possible to make the child object not grow larger?
