How to make HP T120 via hpijs in linux rotate a leaf?
I made a ppd file that allows you to print via ghostscript with the hpijs device, but when printing A2 on a 610mm wide roll, it prints it vertically. What options for gs or hpijs can make it print across?
ps: a post on
habré pss: by the way, there is a similar problem on the bizhub c220, when I print on sheets of 220x320mm, it offers to feed them with the short side, and if you manually set the correct dimensions in the printer, it rotates the image as needed. those. most likely you need to give some kind of command to the printer so that it rotates the sheet 90 degrees.

problem solved, there was an unresolved bug when printing from scribus.
a line was added to ps if orientation=landscape, the postscript viewer understood this as it should, but when converting ps -> pdf, the data was rotated 90 degrees
, the bug is repeated on the last cups in which work is being done with pdf
For designjets, hplip is preferred

Hello Anton Dubinin. tried using your solution - orange pi pc2+armbian focal fossa+railink 7600u. Spectros, there is no driver for this printer in hp lip (HP designjet T120/T520). I have an HP T520 and it has just such a problem. tried to upload driver hp designjet t770 24" - didn't help, hp pcl6 color printer - didn't help. dubinin.inc site doesn't work and it's not possible to download your ppd file to T120... my cups swears at modifying ppd file with your advice, although he did everything as subtly as possible.why doesn't hp add this plotter or is there some simple solution because of which they don't want to make a separate ppd file?
