How to make hover effect with transparency change in Figma?

I wanted to make a menu design using Figma, similar to the menu on the Bootstrap website. There, the text of the menu item becomes more transparent when hovering over.
In Figma, I made two master components: for the standard state and for the hover state. Further, I tried to organize the change of these states through Swap With ..., however, in this case, when hovering over a menu item in the layout, I was shown a lone master component. Through the options also did not work.

In all tutorials on a similar menu, the regulation of states occurred through duplicating layout frames and changing states in them. But doing multiple duplicates for each item...

Is there any way to do this without the hassle of duplicates?

duplicating layout frames and changing states in them

Duplicate not the entire layout, but the button. With the changed state, take it out of the working frame. And then add While hovering
