Hot keys (Ctrl+C, etc.) do not work with Russian layout. With English they work.
How to make hotkeys work with Russian layout?

never heard that coders preferred the en-us locale? if you heard, did not think why?
ps Ctrl+C/V/X (they Ctrl + Ins/Del, Shift + Ins,work like clockwork everywhere with them. with any layout. if you don’t have it, look for hotkey interceptors. maybe even viruses)
