I decided to start studying MODX, the flight is normal. I planted my topic, broke it into chunks.
But I just can't figure out how to blog properly. "Correct" means that the site would not start to slow down as soon as the number of posts with photos exceeds 200.
Tasks:
- Posts should be displayed by category and tags.
- There will be a lot of posts, so pagination is needed.
- The content of the post is a photo + title, description.

I do not recommend learning MODX in 2017. If you really want some kind of CMS, then take WP - if you want it simpler and October CMS - if it's more complicated and better.
You can make a blog on MODX. But again, everything will run into problems with tags and categories. There will be no problems with the brakes.
But if it's a directory, then MODX will do. Take Collections + Gallery for the gallery, link to each resource in your gallery. MIGX is a plugin for clients who are constantly trying to break HTML code. It is not needed for normal users.
