How to make friends sftp and scc in visual studio code?

I work in vscode with wordpress.
I use scss instead of css.
The editor converts styles on the fly.
I just work remotely.
And vscode, unlike sublime, downloads only one file or directory remotely.
It does not know how to load open files in the editor.
For example, I have configured sftp to download files after saving the file.
I am writing in scss file, code is converted to css but only scss is loaded, css stays locally.
To load css, you need to go to this file, change it and then save it.
Terribly uncomfortable.
And how do you use the combination of these two plugins.
