How to make friends LiPo 3S and gimbal to quadcopter?
In general, I have such a LiPo on 3S. I
inherited from a quadrocopter, which I have not been using lately. From him there was a suspension for the camera based on Storm32. Now there is a desire to attach a suspension to a selfie stick, and thus organize stabilization. According to the description from the Chinese, the suspension works from 3-4S \ 11.1 - 16.8v.
Because with electricity, I was too lazy to teach at school, but now I'm wondering how to get out of the situation. Initially, the gimbal is powered by the copter itself, and not directly from the LiPo, obviously. Powered by 12v socket. In terms of voltage, it seems to fit, but I feel a catch, I would not want to do something stupid :). The LiPo has XT60-female connectors, and a balancing one. Do I understand correctly that it will be enough for me to solder the XT-60-dad to the gimbal, and is that enough? Or am I taking a risk, and do I need to add a diode to the circuit? If yes, how much?
Well, in pursuit there are several 18650 batteries. Because they are theoretically lighter - more convenient than this LiPo - is it possible to farm them, what to do with them?
Thank you.

I'll answer my own question, duh. A balancing connector adapter to JST is enough, on aliexpress there are a lot of them. We connect through the adapter to LiPo, and that's enough.
