How to make flowchart to Scanner in Java?

Our professor of algorithms at the university, due to the fact that I understand programming much better than others, decided to dig into my protocol and said to bring him a block diagram of the Scanner object in Java, or rather, he needs a reading algorithm (turning a string into a number), as far as I understand. Help with a flowchart, or at least throw off what to read on this topic in depth.

The block diagram of an object should probably include block diagrams for each method of the object + enumeration of the object's properties. In general, it is very dreary - to draw these schemes, it always infuriated me at the university.
