How to make edits or finish a piece of the site if it has already been posted on WP?

Let's say the site is already hosted or local. Let's say I made it up using Gulp assembly + SCSS, and it's not convenient to finish the site simply through a css file, how do you solve this problem, so that it all happens faster?

Initially, this case should be provided in the assembly. Not so much - replace the compilation paths in the WP version.
