How to make Bootstrap work after installing it via NPM?

Hello everyone!
I have installed Bootstrap in a project. This will be a Vue project.
Bootstrap doesn't work after installation.
He writes like you need JQuery and Popper.
I think - why should I install JQuery in a Vue project?
How can I make Bootstrap work?
PS. When I connect Bootstrap via CDN everything works. But we need through NPM.

Many (or all) of the Bootstrap JS components work through jQ. There is a separate Bootstrap for Vue .

The beta of the 5th bootstrap has been released, it already works without JQuery.
