How to make an English version of the site?

Good day to all!
Friends, such a question:
There is a site on WP, all content is in Russian.
I would like to do something like this:
OPTION 1
The presence of the RUS ENG button on the site, by default the site opens in Russian, when you click on the button, the corresponding language is displayed.
OPTION 2
Also two buttons. But the definition of the displayed language goes automatically, for example, by IP, and if the IP is not RUSSIA, then the version of the site is in English.
Is it possible to do this? If so, how?
What are the options?

Do you think in other countries they do not know Russian?
The language must be determined not by IP, but by the language of the browser. Plugins do it.

Polylang if the site is small and uncomplicated
WPML if the site is fancy
WPML supports from the latest beta page builder like Elementor in translation mode.
I categorically do not recommend qTranslateX, it is fatally wrong in terms of architecture, and if the site develops later, you still have to jump off it.

Good.
For example, using the qTranslate X plugin . There are buttons, the language is determined by the language set in the user's browser.
Determining the language by IP is a so-so idea, because the user's language and country of residence do not always correspond.

Use polylang which is already recommended to you. Great plugin in my opinion.
And yes, one piece of advice - do not use IP detection to substitute the site's language. Use browser locale.

Thanks everyone!
Without looking into the plugins yet... Do
these plugins automatically translate (say, they use Google or Yandex translator) or is it possible to set a different translation option for each page?
It's just that translators don't always translate text correctly.
