Good afternoon! The essence of the issue is that a unique code is added to the sold file (approximately PDF).
That is, certificates are being sold and for copy protection it is required to write a unique code somewhere, so that in the future, when the user prints, you can verify the authenticity. The key is not fundamentally random - it can be an order number, a transaction number, or just a generated one, the main thing is what it is.
Please let me know if anyone has done something similar. I would be very grateful for any advice.

There are plugins for generating PDF from HTML. Through them, you can add a QR code or just a number.
The solution is built in two steps:
1. Teach WordPress how to make the right HTML and insert your content there
2. Then convert it to PDF from scratch or append to an existing PDF
