How to make a trigger counter in zabbix?
Monitoring of printers is very relevant (more than 20, which print 2000 pages each per day) and, of course, the issue of consumables costs is relevant for the authorities (in short, they want to know if they sell purchased cartridges :)). Is it possible to do this in zabbix:
1. there is monitoring of cartridge usage (usage)
2. there is monitoring of the full volume (capacity)
3. there is a calculated unit (percent=(usage/capacity)*100 (shows for simplicity how many percent is left)
4 I would like to make it so that when restoring the value of the percent key by 100 (well, or simply increasing it by 80, for example), a unit is added to the data of the cartridges key and we could see when the cartridge was replaced and how many of them came in half a year. Any
ideas? I think it's an interesting idea

Are printers capable of SNMP? If so, just take statistics and don't reinvent the wheel.
