How to make a slideshow without forward and back buttons work properly?

Good evening!
At the moment I'm solving a problem where I need to implement two slide shows without the "Forward" and "Back" buttons.

And the bottom line is that when you click on one of the extreme blocks, the sliders are switched by the carousel (but the animation has not yet been implemented and each extreme element has been configured as active).

With HTML and CSS, I implemented the sliders and made the outermost elements active on page load, and with JS and JQuery, I implemented the logic for the sliders, calculating the distance and the number of sliders in the block. After refreshing the page, my algorithm itself did not work by clicking on the last element.
What can be and how to implement such a slide show correctly and clearly?
