How to make a slider with % in a social network?
There is a site where some work is going on (for example, translation into notabenoid). It is necessary to implement a functionality that allows you to insert a slider with the percentage of work completed in the social. networks. Not just a piece of code for websites, but in social networks. That is, so that a regular user of the contact could insert, for example, a picture (by link) into the message, and it would automatically change during the work (so that you do not need to update the browser manually).
As I understand it, the picture will not be updated normally, social networks will not update it periodically, right? What to use? Video, gif? - in short, some technology is needed.

There is no such technology. Social networks will not even let you insert your HTML, not to mention JS (third-party iframe applications do not count).
In VK, for example, if you place a link to a photo in a microblog, it will be loaded as a picture, and if you delete a picture by clicking on the link, then it will disappear in the microblog. In this case, I think that it's easy to update the image on your server, and indicate a link to the image on the social network. When the site loads, the link will be pulled from your server. I haven't tested it myself, but I think that's how it works.
