How to make a single profile when connecting via RDP to the server?

It will be necessary to configure a terminal server where employees will connect to work under a domain account. You need a default profile (with settings and installed software) that will be used when connecting via RDP. After disconnecting from the server, all changes made by the user are deleted immediately or after some time.
Tell me how can I implement this? I thought that this can be done through User Profile Disks, but I'm not sure about it.

I can be wrong, but google in the direction of VDI, in my opinion, with the help of virtual desktops, something like this could be stirred up.

Does each user have their own software or is it the same for everyone?
In general terms, something like this:
Install the required software on the terminal server...
Apply all settings through GPO
If UPD is not configured, profiles are created locally on the terminal server in c:\Users. You can delete them by scheduled task.
If UPDs are configured - in the same way, the scheduled task is to bang from the shared profile folder
As Sergey Ryzhkin said - you can stir up VDI (you can do all the necessary software and settings in the reference image, you can use GPO), if there are enough hardware resources to allocate a separate VM for each user
