How to make a roaming profile in Ubuntu?
I want to have a common (synchronized) home directory at home and at work.
In order not to carry anything to work, but at the same time it was possible to work from home if necessary.

Only sync files using Dropbox or Yandex.Disk or Google Drive. The entire home directory is better not needed, as this is fraught with special effects due to software incompatibilities.
Well, you can try this:
1. When installing, we take out / home in a separate section.
2. Copy the contents of / home to some dropbox
3. Unmount the partition (umount)
4. Mount another folder of some dropbox in / home
I see the following possible problems:
1. Not safe
2. If the software versions differ at home or at work , then the application config may be different, so something may fall off (when working with software).
It's better to just get some kind of dropbox for shared files, and not the entire partition, or have a live distribution, run it from a flash drive, where the / home partition will be on the flash drive (may be slow)
I made a folder synchronized via SSH storage. I wrote an add-on program for rsync, lsof on freepascal. The first day - the flight is normal.
