How to make a repeater from DIR-300?

I bought a new Netgear WNDR4300 router, I want to flash the old DIR-300-B3 in DD-WRT and create a not simple (or maybe simple) Wi-Fi bridge.
I want to know if it is possible to do this: WNDR4300 distributes the Internet over a Wi-Fi network with SSID-1 , DIR-300 receives a signal over Wi-Fi and gives the Internet over a Wi-Fi network but with SSID-2 with a limited speed.
The thing is, I don't want to install DD-WRT on the WNDR4300 - it has too many bugs with it. Plus, there are factory goodies out of the box that you don’t want to give up (TimeMachine, etc.) and certain customers need to cut the speed.
What solutions to the problem can you recommend? I will be glad to any answer. Thank you.
PS User Jump prompted: you do not need a repeater. And the user alexclear formulated: we need a second virtual access point in client mode.

In general, everything turned out great. Router model DIR-300 B3.
@alexclear was kind of wrong. You can organize a virtual point both there and there. The fact is that there are two ways to organize such an undertaking: Client Bridge and Repeater Bridge. Indeed, routers based on Railink chips do not support the Client Bridge relay mode, but they perfectly support the Repeater Bridge mode. At their core, these modes are very similar, differing only in complexity and setup time.
Here is information about the router, and here is about setting up the Repeater Bridge

@alexclear

On those DIR-300 revisions that are made on Atheros chips , this can be done, on those made on RaLink chips , this cannot be done - the hardware does not support the organization of a second virtual access point in client mode.
