How to make a portfolio dropdown slider

Hello. Got a question. I have a slick portfolio slider that shows content, I need it to expand when clicking on any slide and show the corresponding additional / drop-down content, which is intended specifically for this slide (additional info can be large, that is, additional pictures / text; roughly speaking, as an additional page)? I would like to know the best way to implement this? Can do this by adding hidden blocks, and when clicked, make a block corresponding to the slide - display: block; or can it be implemented in the least resource-intensive way to load? I'll attach pictures below for clarity. Thank you. :)
