How to make a photo booth

Good day, friends and comrades.
Have any of you ever dealt with photo booths (photo booths)?
There are vendors on the network who sell these devices from 150k and above.
Accordingly, the thought of assembling your own suggests itself.
If anyone has dealt with this please share your experience/thoughts.

A year ago, I collected this with a friend.
About 30k came out on the basis at prices, from an aluminum profile and drywall.
Filling: a simple computer + Canon PowerShot camera with remote control + Epson inkjet + a regular monitor with a touch screen and a bill acceptor. The software is self-written. Priced at around 30k.
And now the main problems ... no, more correctly, mistakes. poured a glass. :
We wanted to save money and did it "on the knee".
We were not satisfied with the quality of the webcams, we had to use a full-fledged camera, the lens was scratched several times (we deserved it), which resulted in the purchase of a new camera, until a removable glass was installed,
as well as control instability. It was necessary to look for normal webcams.
They chose the wrong printer + non-original consumables, without having previously tested the work without supervision.
The printer either streaked, then the paper ran out, then it chewed the paper. The color reproduction was terrible.
The banding cannot be tracked programmatically, I had to install a separate camera aimed at issuing a sheet and from time to time send pictures to my mail, so that if something happens, I would quickly go and fix it. Remote cleaning of the nozzles worked every other time, since emulation of mouse clicks was used to start.
So far, I myself am not sure which one to take, but certainly not an inkjet or a laser, most likely a thermo-sublimation one.
The Chinese bill acceptor sometimes swallowed and did not recognize the denomination, most likely due to lack of experience with them. It was necessary for people to believe the word and return the money to the mobile phone / card.
They did not take into account the contingent (urban-type village) and did not test the convenience and ease of use on "real" users, they had to finish the programming in the process.
Clients called the contact phone and asked to explain what needs to be done and why.
The whole structure from the original idea turned into a solid bunch of props, self-tapping screws, sometimes protruding outwards, harnesses and blue electrical tape,
since the front panel was made of drywall. From time to time, something fell off. Shouldn't have screwed the screws into the drywall...
To load paper, or get close to the bill acceptor, you had to be a gynecologist.
Responsibilities were not assigned in advance.
They did not calculate their own time, sometimes the booth was idle for several days.
I had to learn too much (touch screen, camera control, printer control, bill acceptor) in too short a time without proper debugging and testing.
There was no clear plan of what to do.
And all we needed was: when it seemed to us that something was going wrong, sit down and discuss the problem, wait a little and order normal components, and not those at hand.
And also go to the nearest booth and see how it works, what is used.
We didn't have any of those around.
As a result, the entire "WOW" effect of installing the booth was lost, because for those months that it "almost" worked, everyone did not like it ...
For half a year, it did not pay for itself or the rent of 3 sq.m. (5k. per month) not to mention consumables and trips back and forth.
The human factor also played a role. Everyone went their own way. I plan to start from scratch.
Please voice your own thoughts on this matter.

I saw implementations where the most expensive thing is the booth itself, its frame. The filling is a weak PC with winXP, a good webcam and a small photo printer + soft shell. For the price, though, I'm not sure.
