With a file server - the task is meaningless. You may not delete it at all.
And the task of the author - sounds like a "ring buffer". We write data in a circle. Maybe granules. Small files.
We overwrite the new ones on top of the old ones.
How to do it in Android - I don't know. Because I'm more of a Server Java expert.
