How to make a password type field in angular material?

Please tell me how angular material to display a field that is filled with asterisks when entering characters. This field is usually used to enter a password. I did not find it in the documentation, but it cannot be that it was not implemented because it is too often used functionality.

Yes , just like everywhere else - add the attribute type="password".
