How to make a local branch in sourcetree?

I had a folder with a project, I created a project in sourceTree, specifying this folder. Also on bitbucket I created a project. In the sourceTree settings, I specified a link to this project. But can't figure out how to create a local branch. Previously, I always created projects through cloning, and there an external branch was created and a local one.
