How to make a laptop on windows 7 2 screen to another pc?

I connected them with a vga cable, chose to expand the screens on the main PC, but on the laptop the resolution only changes back and forth and the content from the PC does not display on the screen

in general, no way. vga connector on a laptop is not for this.
