How to install win Xp on a compaq presario cq57 laptop, now it has win 7
to install xp, you need to change the hard disk mode in the IDE (because when you install Xp, a blue screen appears, death)
you can’t change this in the BIOS, there are no such Sata mode settings, etc.
bios version - insydeh20 setup utility rev 3.5 (some kind of bios mini)
can i find solutions to install xp wines? (weak laptop with win 7 can not cope)

Look for an assembly with integrated sata/achi drivers. I think this is your case.

weak laptop with win 7

2011 laptop with 4G memory - and can't handle Win7????? Don't tell stories!
Reinstall on the new Win7, and you will be Happiness!!!
