How to make a distributed computing network based on linux?
There are several home PCs and if I buy a little more iron, I can build a couple more devices from home junk. I want to make a distributed computing network. Goals - training, area of interest.
Plus, I like gentoo, but I don’t want to compile for weeks, and installing from binaries is not quite right, because the compiled software for my hardware and tasks is 10 out of 10. So I would like to feed the compilation to a network of devices. It's possible. At the same time, a heater will not be needed in spring and autumn.
The question is, what do I need to use from the software for this?
What literature would you recommend, besides software documentation?
Only open source solutions are interesting, which I can use on the basis of Linux.

read about distcc, - there's nothing complicated. I use it in practice to update kde, chromium, etc. faster on a rather weak laptop due to two powerful desktops.
Z.Y. for lovers of holivars - gentoo on a laptop is used out of sports interest and craving for adventure =)
