In general, at the moment I'm working on the site. The problem is that any edits go directly to the site itself, that is, to the productive.
Is it possible to make a copy of the site in Bitrix, transfer it to the test.[domain].com subdomain and enable the "Installation for development" checkbox for the copy?
Or how else do they work with a site on Bitrix?

Locally put the files, raise the virtual machine, load the database - and work. I have been running a test server on my intranet server for ten years with a daily backup from the combat site without any checkmarks.
