How to make a backup for a site on MODX?

There is a site on the MODX engine and you need to correctly organize an automatic regular backup of all files and a database. If the backup itself is sent to the specified mail - even cooler.
What are the solutions? How do you backup?

Backups can be large, so mail is excluded, only cloud storage.
In general, I do it by hand - it's not for long. But you can set up cron.

No one in their right mind sends backups to the mail. Backups should be dealt with on the server side. If you have shared hosting, then the question is to the hoster. If the server becomes elementary.
