How to make a 404 redirect for a multilingual site?

I have a multilingual site (russ/eng).
There is a folder "en/" for the English version of the site.
there is 404.html for the Russian and English versions of the site.
I can’t figure out how to make the redirect in the English version of the site direct to the English version of the 404.html page
