After opening the latch, it is impossible to move (or rather insert) the cartridge, since the “fence” (indicated by a green arrow) does not fall.

The picture shows that after opening the latch, the fence is lowered (“drowned”).

How to lower the fence?

Answer: the button that says whether the lid is open has sunk. It is treated with a light push.

Try the sequence: put paper in the tray, turn on the printer, and only then open the cover and pull out the cartridge.
