How to login to smb server?

Hello, they sent me sequencing files but it is located on the server smb://atlas.pasteur.fr/@genovac

I can access it using my login+password from MAC - but I need it from Windows or using WinSCP or putty.. The problem is that I don't know how to connect to smb - this is the first time I've encountered this protocol.

How to do it? Thank you.

this is a regular network folder in windows
In Explorer, you can connect it
WinSCP and Putty cannot connect there

if genovac is a username, then on Windows try this:
\\[email protected]\
VPN arguments are all optional, and SMB can work fine between different networks if there is routing and nothing is forcibly blocked; another thing is that yes, they are often blocked from the Internet, but it depends on the system administrator.
