How to log in correctly via google calendar api via php?

Installed google-api-php-client code via composer. But an error occurs at the authorization stage through the terminal:

Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'InvalidArgumentException' with message 'Invalid token format' in /home/<...>/public_html/api/vendor/google/apiclient/src/Client.php:523
Stack trace:

if the file contains an object {"access_token": "...", ....} or a string with a token, then
$client->setAccessToken(file_get_contents($tokenPath));
