How to lock a PC keyboard while leaving a working mouse?
I looked through a dozen options for programs, everywhere the mouse is blocked along with the keyboard, but I would like only the keyboard to turn on and off by clicking on the tray icon.
Operating system: Windows 7 x64

I block the keyboard from the child. Program block grem.net.ru/soft.html
Description:
Blocks keyboard, mouse, computer shutdown functions. It was developed as protection against small children, but, in principle, it can also be used as protection against "not small". Those who have small children are familiar with the situation: you left your computer for a second, and playful hands are already reaching out to “put things in order there” (sometimes with very sad consequences). When I had such a problem, I rummaged through the entire network in search of and found pieces of 3 similar programs, but they did not suit me. Then I had to write myself. My program allows you to turn on the cartoon for the child, and then turn on the lock without minimizing the player ("hot" keys). You must enter a password to unlock. It also allows you to automatically turn off the computer if it was turned on by a child in your absence.
Previously, the hardware shutdown button on the wireless keyboard saved me. I would like to find a decent software alternative.
Perhaps it makes sense to write a binary to disable / enable it as through the device manager.
But rather, this tench leaves its mark =(
there were keyboards with the "Turbo" button, so the blocking was carried out by the combination: Turbo + F11
