How to live if AMD? fglrx vs amdgpu or something else?

It's been a month since I've been trying to install Linux on my computer. Tried a variety of options (manjaro, ubuntu, mint...). Ideally, of course, I wanted manjaro xfce. The problem is that I have an AMD Radeon R7 265 plus an integrated intel graphics processor. Firstly, you need to find a working driver for AMD (it seems unrealistic), and secondly, make Intel and AMD work together (well, or at least so that Intel does not interfere with AMD). I heard the opinion that in the latest versions of niks there is no normal support for amd video cards. This is very sad. But at least somehow with a tambourine I'm ready to look for a solution to the last. Please do not advise me to switch to Windows - do not piss me off. From the drivers, too, I tried a variety of combinations. As I understand the most basic here: fglrx (proprietary) and amdgpu (free). Unfortunately, both options have not yet worked on my computer. Also, for some reason, I heard a lot of negativity in favor of fglrx. For some reason, many say that it is worse and does not work, while others, on the contrary, recommend it ... I don’t know where the truth is and what is better. Actually, my main problem is a black screen when loading any system. Temporarily I solve this by writing nomodeset in the rude menu, but this cannot serve as a final solution, and for example on manjaro it did not even help. I'm already tired of bothering with this amd, by God it's a pity that I don't have nvidia, but they say she doesn't have such problems. Just go ahead and buy a new video card... but this cannot serve as a final solution, and for example on manjaro it did not even help. @Fragster

works out of the box for me in opensuse, though on an older video. at the same time, intel and amd will not work, strictly in turn, while it is better to turn off intel in the bios.

Try putting debian pre-disabled in BIOS switchable graphics

Indeed, try to enable only the integrated graphics (Intel) in the BIOS, open drivers will be installed on it without any problems (yes, they only exist :)). Plus, why do you need this stove - amd, when under Linux there is simply NOTHING to load a video card with. Games are still from the 90s, and Intel is more than enough for a browser / video player.
