How to link local /etc/hosts file to virtual machine?

I have host settings for docker containers on my locale. I also have a virtual machine on which I want to open a site at the address specified in my local /etc/hosts. How to do it?

On the VM, the hosts have the same hosts (which I closed)

Raise the DNS server (pi-hole for example) or register DNS records on the router if it allows. (Mikrotik - allows)
