How to limit the size of the output Title and Description in Bitrix?

I found a lot of ready-made solutions for all popular cms, but I don’t see anything at all for Bitrix.
Tell me, how can I limit to the required number of characters Title and meta description on each page?

On a site with a thousand pages, where the former owner wrote 150-300 characters in the Title, but I generally keep quiet about the description. Doing such work by hand is a very dreary task ...

You take the value from $APPLICATION->GetPageProperty("title")and cut it as you like, the problem is not entirely clear.
