There is a distinction, as it were, but not the fact that it works (did not check). If you don't add screenshots for an app in the tablet section, it won't be available for tablets. The same is true for other types of devices.

Taking into account the fact that the difference between a 6" smartphone and a 7" tablet with a GSM module is vanishingly small - I think you're messing around :)
