How to lighten eclipse?

It just so happens that I need to write code in java on a weak machine and I need to write code in eclipse (latest version). So how do I turn off autocomplete, code completion, and other heavy stuff that I don't need?

In this case, it would be more efficient and easier, perhaps, to use some notepad ++ in conjunction with the JDK, or take a closer look at other development environments, the same netbeans for example.
