How to let users into the remote desktop server without entering a login and password?
I have a strange problem
. There is not a domain Windows server 2016 on the Internet, the Remote Desktop Service is up on it.
When I connect to it via RDP, I expect to see a welcome window for entering a username and password, but instead I see a dialog box from my operating system that says Windows Security - Enter credentials.
This behavior does not suit me directly, but the search engines do not know the solution.
So the question is how do I change this behavior?
UPD: this becomes a problem if the user has an expired password. He cannot change it himself, he needs the help of a network administrator.

it is strange that on one server you need to do this, but on no other
Check the box Remember credentials and save the RDP file. After that, when it is launched, users will immediately fall through to the remote desktop.
The problem is really weird. Allow users to join the server without entering a username and password.
The standard behavior of the security system, if you read the sections on authorization and authentication and how it works in the OS, you may not have a question.
Well, in general, after entering this password, you can save it. You can also create a user account to connect and connect after that (this method was only checked for access to resources), but this will not cancel the fact that certificates were verified at the first login.
