How to learn laravel?

I am learning laravel as my first framework. Before that, I studied html, css, js and read half of Koterov's book on php, and mysql. By laravel, I started watching Gosh D*darya, reading the docks, but D*dar has few videos (and I didn’t find other YouTubers for beginners), and although the docks help to figure it out, they don’t add up the big picture. Can you recommend more resources? English at upper-intermediate level. Another question is, is it possible to find the source codes of a simple site on laravel somewhere? I want to see how the site is being built at the architecture level.

On laracasts in the track "laravel" there are a number of courses "create an application", even if they are a little outdated, the approaches do not change dramatically.

As I understand it, there is no smell of practice here? If so, then it doesn't make much sense.
