I read an article about how to watch TV shows with subtitles and then learn words, and so every day you can learn 20 words. He entered unfamiliar words and expressions into Anki, every day he learned words by pronouncing and writing down on paper, as a result, after three months there were about 300 words in the dictionary and only a few were assigned for repetition in a year. Thus, it turned out that 2 hours allotted for English should be spent on Anki, there is no time to watch TV shows. When I am told I need to learn words and expressions or only expressions - I always have a question to learn for how long? If for a couple of days, then no problem, but how to remember them for a month or more, if you need to know how to write and how to pronounce? By the way, what words, that expressions - learn equally disgustingly. PS courses, tutors, trips abroad - do not offer.

Cramming is basically useless. If you do not use these words or do not meet them on a regular basis, then they will be 100% forgotten. Only practice, only hardcore

If you learn words - expressions that you understand where you can quickly apply - then the sense will be for sure.
I liked this work scenario - take some interesting short video, parse what is not clear from it into cards, moreover, in pieces of phrases or phrases, learn most of the cards, and be sure to speak out loud, and then watch the same video several times in a row, then repeat in a week or a month. You can also stop and try to mimic the pronunciation in the video.
