How to keep the system stable after Windows 10 updates?

Windows installs updates without user demand and in an instant everything can fall.
Some advise to make backups, but after a rollback to a backup, Windows will not be updated again (and will not fall)?
How to solve this problem? I don’t want to suffer after updates (although I rarely had crooked updates).

The probability of unrecoverable problems after the update approaches zero.
If the update rolls with an error, then it will roll back by itself and will not be installed.
If the update rolls, but brings problems, then you can always delete it.

Probably not in a hurry with updates in principle. Considering that recently a lot of news has surfaced that the update brought a glitch / bug / slowdown / etc., it may be worth finding an acceptable software to limit activity on updates (disable, postpone) and install them after a certain "safe" period has passed when potential problems will definitely surface in the news and there they will already be "fixed"
