How to integrate mikrotik dhcp and dns?
Network-2 has a Mikrotik and dhcp is enabled on it, sometimes printers are connected to it, for example. All interact with printers via DNS. For example mfp-01.sub.domain.com.
On the network-1 dhcp windows (role-dhcp server) works fine and registers on the DNS server. (forward and reverse zone)
But moving around the sites is inevitable.
It is possible, as I understand it, to use the DNS of Mikrotik, but without a crutch it does not enter the hostname into its DNS.
What are the optimal solutions?
wins does not offer this technology "ancient"))
Interested in the same PTR records.
Everything is built on Windows - Active Directory.

What for ?
You need to turn on the dhcp-client on the 2nd microt and that's it .. it will pull up the data from the first microt and get an ip-address for itself ... actually after that it will become a dhcp + dns relay for those devices that will connect to it
1 the first microt must also be a dhcp-client for the win server on which the service is running..
What prevents from immediately issuing ip to dhcp in the head location? all one vpn between it and the branch to raise. make dns on Mikrotik caching from the head + raise a dhcp relay to the head location and a backup dhcp with a response delay of 3-6 seconds so that if the vpn falls, you can reach local resources. there is another option: to draw the transfer of dns zones from the branch to the head location. but Mikrotik can't give away the zone (sort of).
