Created an app in Xcode and everything worked well on the phone. But then the provisioning profile expired, and the application stopped running on the phone. I want to install the application to my friends on the phone so that it works all the time. Is it possible to do this without a developer certificate?

It seems that with the latest versions of XCode and iOS, you can install it on your "test" devices without a purchased certificate.
On the old ones - it’s impossible, but you can buy for a signature from different offices, I did this once.
