How to install windows next to linux?
Hello masters. Please tell me how to install Windows along with Linux. If Linux is already installed and configured.
I found solutions in Google, but methods are described there with deleting a partition on a hard drive. And how can everything be done without losing the information existing on these sections?

It is not necessary to delete. It is enough to move the existing partitions from under the LiveCD using gparted. On the freed space, create a partition for Windows.
1) Through GParted we prepare a place for Windows
2) Install Windows in a prepared place
3) Restore the Linux bootloader (instructions - the sea).
1 uninstall windows.
2. install Linux.
3. Buy a cheap junk computer and put it next to you.
You can't switch to Linux using Windows
. You need to abandon Windows completely.
This is the only way to switch to Linux.
And Windows at best in a virtual machine.
It's bad if you don't have free disk space for the new Windows.
In any case, make a backup of your data. It is better not to touch Linux partitions (do not transfer or compress).
After installing Windows
, I repaired the Linux bootloader using the disk
https://sourceforge.net/projects/boot-repair-cd/files/ .
